Participation

Participation in Cheaha Winds is on a voluntary basis. Band members come from all walks of life, from young adults to retirement age, and all levels of musical skill, from student to professional.

Newcomers are always welcome! All that is requested is a commitment to rehearsals and performances. No auditions are required. While our membership primarily consists of those 18 years of age or older, we do accept high school musicians with the written approval of their parents and band director recommendation. Rehearsals

Our rehearsals are typically held on Tuesday evenings from 6:30pm-8:00pm.

Membership Dues

We do not have set membership dues. We request that members contribute as they are able to support the expenses of our program and outreach.
