Participation

Being part of Cheaha Winds is a rewarding and voluntary experience. Our members come from all backgrounds, spanning young adults to retirees, and represent a wide range of musical abilities—from enthusiastic students to seasoned professionals.

We’re always excited to welcome new faces! There are no auditions required to join. All we ask is your dedication to attending rehearsals and performances. While most of our members are 18 years or older, we gladly accept talented high school musicians with written parental consent and a recommendation from their band director. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Rehearsals

Rehearsals are held on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM. This is where the magic begins as we prepare for our performances and share the joy of music together.

Membership Contributions

Cheaha Winds does not require fixed membership dues. Instead, we encourage members to contribute as they are able to help cover the costs of our programs and community outreach efforts. Your support ensures we can continue making music accessible to all.
