Anniston, AL – February 14, 2025 – The Cheaha Winds Community Band is pleased to announce a new partnership with Jacksonville State University, securing the use of the McClellan Center Auditorium for rehearsals and performances. This agreement provides the band with a spacious and well-equipped venue to continue its mission of bringing quality concert band music to the community.

The Cheaha Winds Community Band is made up of musicians from diverse backgrounds, ranging from dedicated amateurs to seasoned performers. Open to adults of all experience levels, the band welcomes new members who wish to continue playing music in a community setting.

Rehearsals will take place Tuesdays from 6:30pm-8:00pm, and performances will be announced throughout the year. Musicians interested in joining or learning more about the band can visit https://cheahawinds.org/join/

The Cheaha Winds Community Band is excited to kick off our 2025 spring season with rehearsals resuming on Tuesday, January 21st! Whether you’re a returning member or new to the band, we can’t wait to see you as we prepare an exciting lineup of music for the upcoming season.

Rehearsals are held every Tuesday evening at from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. This season promises to be filled with incredible music, new opportunities, and the joy of making memories together as a community of musicians.

If you’re not yet a member but have been considering joining, it’s the perfect time to get involved! Cheaha Winds welcomes musicians of all skill levels. Dust off your instrument and join us in creating something truly special.
